We are seeking a full-time (10PA) paediatric radiologist to joint our imaging team. You will provide secondary and tertiary level paediatric imaging and participate in the emergency paediatric imaging on-call rota. The post includes plain film reporting, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MR. An interest in an experience of paediatric interventional radiology would be welcomed but is not essential.
Bristol Royal Hospital for Children continues to expand and offers a comprehensive range of tertiary clinical services to the South West and for some specialties to South Wales. It also provides secondary paediatric care for the children of Bristol. We are a designated paediatric major trauma centre. There has been significant investment in imaging capability and our paediatric radiologists work with some of the latest and newest imaging equipment.
This is a new post and has been developed in response to increasing workload in BRHC and a requirement to provide some paediatric imaging in Weston General Hospital, a small general hospital 25 miles southwest of Bristol. This post will have clinical duties split between BRHC (6PA) and Weston (4PA). On-call will be based at BRHC.
Informal enquiries may be made in the first instance to Dr.David Grier, clinical lead for paediatric radiology on 0117 342 8688, firstname.lastname@example.org or Dr Huw Roach, Clinical Director for Radiology on 0117 342 3075, email@example.com
Please note that CVs are not used in the shortlisting process. If you are shortlisted your CV will be made available to the interview panel.
Closing date for this post is June 28th 2017 and the interview date is July 18th 2017.
