Job Description

1 x CONSULTANT IN INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

Applications are invited for the above post within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Radiology Department at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Headley Way, Oxford OX3 9DU, with cross site presence at the Churchill Hospital, Old Road, OX3 7LE.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Radiology Consultant to join the team of 8 existing interventional radiologists working cross site to provide interventional radiology services to Oxfordshire. Particular expertise in vascular intervention is essential. The post is a new post, supporting service reconfiguration. The post will contribute to the provision and development of specialist intervention, including supporting the Thames Valley Vascular Network and the Thames Valley Trauma Network.

Job Requirements

  1. FRCR or equivalent
  2. CCT in Radiology or registration on GMC Specialist Register in Radiology, or within 6 months of achieving CCT at the time of interview.
  3. At least one year higher level training in interventional radiology at a recognised training centre.
  4. Good team working skills
