Job Description

1 x CONSULTANT IN CROSS SECTIONAL IMAGING

Applications are invited for the above post within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Radiology Department at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Headley Way, Oxford OX3 9DU, with cross site presence at the Churchill Hospital, Old Road, OX3 7LE, and on a rotational basis to the Horton Hospital, Banbury OX16 9AL.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Radiology Consultant to join the team of existing radiologists working cross site to provide cross sectional imaging services to Oxfordshire. The post is a new post, supporting service expansion. The post will contribute to the provision and development of specialist imaging services in conjunction with clinical colleagues.

Job Requirements

  1. FRCR or equivalent
  2. CCT in Radiology or registration on GMC Specialist Register in Radiology, or within 6 months of achieving CCT at the time of interview.
  3. At least one year higher level training in cross sectional radiology at a recognised training centre.
  4. Competency in performing basic intervention including biopsies and drainages to support on call.
