St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the regional specialist care provider for south west London, Surrey and beyond. The trust provides a high quality, comprehensive range of health services from leading edge tertiary and trauma care to community services, delivered from 2 hospital sites, St.George’s Hospital in Tooting and Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, and from St John’s Therapy Centre, 11 health centres and clinics, schools, nursing homes and people’s own homes. The trust also manages the healthcare service at HMP Wandsworth. With national and regional referrals added to our local 3.5m catchment, we serve a population of around 5m. We employ around 8,000 staff.

Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist to join a friendly and cohesive team of radiologists with diverse expertise in a busy department and a strong record in teaching, training and research.

The successful applicant would be expected to join the existing radiologists in supporting the interventional radiology service as well as providing cover for an expanding general diagnostic radiology service which includes a major trauma service for the Trust. The post will attract 10 PAs and the post-holder will take part in the 1:7 interventional on-call rota.

It is expected that applicants will have the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists and a CCT in Radiology or equivalent training and experience.
