NATIONAL IMAGING ACADEMY WALES
We are pleased to invite applications to become part of the Radiologist Team at National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW). We have 20 Academy Radiologist Trainers who will be employed for a single session each for Radiologist trainee training at the Imaging Academy. The contract and salary will be via Service Level Agreement. This exciting development is primarily aimed at increasing Radiologist training capacity in Wales. It is based in the Academy Building at Pencoed, near Bridgend. Its facilities include a 100 seat lecture theatre, two workstation classrooms, an ultrasound suite, ultrasound simulations and dedicated audio-visual equipment for training delivery.
NIAW are looking for keen trainers to help the Welsh Training Schemes to continue to deliver high quality Radiology training at this new Academy site to enhance the exiting teaching and training at the Welsh Hospital sites.
