A Paediatric Radiology Consultant job to provide both general and specialised services using all modalities (plain radiographs, fluoroscopy, CT, MR, Ultrasound, post-mortem, skeletal surveys, nuclear medicine). It may be likely to accommodate other interest within the department, including on-call work.
Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant Paediatric Radiologist or Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Paediatric Radiology.
The job-plan is flexible and can include home-working. The Trust Imaging Department Team is friendly, functional and supportive.
The Imaging Department is a busy department providing both general and specialist services in diagnostic and interventional imaging.
The department is unique in its flexibility and wide-raging specialisms and services offered. This means that interested candidates are able to adapt and tailor their job-plans as per their interests. Thus any successful candidate’s job-plan can be purely dedicated to paediatric radiology (including both general and sub-specialised paediatric radiology) but can also include scope for adult radiology practice (again, both general and specialised).
There is a high level of skill-mix within the department and teaching and training of radiographers and junior radiologists is at the forefront.
